USAT Event Schedule

The USAT released a list of USAT sanctioned events coming this fall, and also the date of the 2010 US Open.

USAT Partners Up With Lajust

In case you missed the news, USAT has signed a four year contract with LaJust Sports. LaJust Sports as you may know created the electronic scoring hogu's used by USAT at many events. LaJust and USAT have signed a four year deal where LaJust will be the only electronic hogu scoring systems used at USAT events.

Events specificall mentioned include National Qualifiers, Nationals, National Team Trials, Junior Olympics, Rocky Mountain Open, and the US Open. For more information on LaJust you can visit their website.

U-24 and Junior National Team Trials Schedule Announced

USAT has released the schedule for matches in the U-24 Team Trials and the Junior National Team Trials. The U-24 event will be held August 21st, with Junior National Team Trials to follow on August 22nd, and 23rd. Both events are held in Colorado Springs Colorado. For full match details see below.

Korea Open Team Announced

A 16 member team was selected by Grandmaster Young In Cheon through an application process to compete at the 2009 Korea Open. The team is not going to be sponsored by USAT or considered a National Team. The team will however have the opportunity to compete August 17th through 22nd in Incheon, Korea. The team roster consists of:
